RADIATION THERAPY TRAINING WORKSHOPS
At ICI we offer many training and educational opportunities
related to radiation oncology
Radiation oncologists may focus their practice on a specific disease site, however due to advances in the specialty, additional training may be required to keep up with high standards that cancer care demands.
We are currently offering courses in radiosurgery intracranial SRS (CNS) and extracranial SBRT(Body) as well as other treatment techniques that allow definitive management of a broad spectrum of diseases including benign conditions. We utilize various radiation modalities, with the main principle of achieving maximal therapeutic gain while minimizing radiation exposure to normal tissues.
The newer technologies of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) are commonly delivered in 1 to 5 fractions and administer highly precise and highly potent radiation treatments.
At ICI we offer several options for training and continuing medical education in this specialty. Please contact us at info@innovativecancer.com to learn more.
